1. Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to heyqwik.com, the Qwik software service, related dashboards, support interactions, and integrations that a user authorizes. It does not govern the independent privacy practices of TikTok, TikTok Shop, or other third-party services.
2. Information we collect
Information you provide
- Account and business information, such as name, work email, company, role, and account settings.
- Communications with us, including support requests, product feedback, and security reports.
- Configuration information you enter into Qwik, including product priorities, creator notes, collaboration status, and internal workflow labels.
Information received through authorized integrations
When a seller or other eligible user authorizes a supported integration, Qwik may receive data made available through the scopes that user approves. Depending on the enabled Qwik features and approved platform scopes, this may include seller/shop identifiers, product and catalog information, affiliate collaboration information, creator-related collaboration information, and order or performance information relevant to affiliate operations.
We do not claim access to a category of platform data merely because an API makes it available. Qwik is intended to request and use only the scopes reasonably necessary for enabled product functionality.
Technical information
- IP address, browser and device type, operating system, referring pages, and approximate region.
- Service logs, authentication events, error records, and security telemetry.
- Cookie or similar technology data used for session management, preferences, security, and service analytics.
3. How we use information
- Provide, secure, operate, troubleshoot, and improve Qwik.
- Authenticate users and maintain authorized platform connections.
- Display and organize products, creators, collaborations, workflow status, and performance information for authorized users.
- Respond to support, privacy, and security requests.
- Prevent abuse, investigate incidents, enforce our terms, and comply with law.
- Generate aggregate or de-identified service insights that do not identify an individual seller, creator, or buyer.
We do not sell personal information. We do not use TikTok Shop protected data for unrelated advertising, data brokerage, or purposes incompatible with the authorization under which the data was obtained.
4. Platform data and authorization
Qwik processes platform data only in connection with an authorized integration and the features the user chooses to use. Authorization may be revoked through the applicable platform or by contacting us. When access is revoked, Qwik stops using the revoked authorization to obtain new data and applies its deletion and retention procedures to data previously received, subject to legal, security, fraud-prevention, and backup requirements.
5. Sharing and service providers
We may disclose information to infrastructure, hosting, database, monitoring, customer-support, email, security, and professional service providers that process data on our behalf and are subject to contractual or legal obligations. We may also disclose information where required by law, to protect rights and security, in connection with a corporate transaction, or at the direction of an authorized customer.
We do not grant service providers independent rights to use protected platform data for their own advertising or data-brokerage purposes.
6. Data retention
We retain information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, to provide the service, resolve disputes, maintain security and audit records, and meet legal obligations. Platform-derived data is subject to shorter retention where required by the platform, the relevant integration terms, or a user’s revocation/deletion request. Qwik periodically reviews stored data and deletes or de-identifies data that is no longer needed.
7. Deletion, access, and correction
Users may request access, correction, export, or deletion of eligible personal information by emailing privacy@heyqwik.com. Requests to delete Qwik account and integration data may also be submitted through the process described on our Data Deletion page. We may need to verify the requester’s identity and authority over the relevant account.
8. Security
We maintain technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, alteration, loss, misuse, or disclosure. Safeguards are selected based on the sensitivity of the data and may include access controls, least-privilege permissions, secure transport, logging, secrets management, vulnerability management, and incident-response procedures. No system can guarantee absolute security.
9. International processing
Qwik is operated by a U.S. business. Information may be processed in the United States and other locations where approved service providers operate, subject to applicable law and platform-specific data-location restrictions. The actual production data locations and subprocessors used for protected platform data are maintained in our internal data inventory and disclosed during applicable platform security reviews.
10. Children
Qwik is a business service and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly solicit personal information from children through Qwik.
11. Changes
We may update this policy as our service, legal obligations, or platform requirements change. The effective date above indicates the most recent version. Material changes will be communicated as required by applicable law.
